What is the Gaza 5K?
The Gaza Solidarity 5K is an annual walk/run hosted by UNRWA USA. This event raises funds for UNRWA's Community Mental Health Program (CMHP) to support thousands of refugee children in Gaza affected by PTSD and other psychological trauma.

We recently hosted our 3rd annual Gaza Solidarity 5K Walk/Run at Rock Creek Park in Washington DC on Saturday, May 17, 2014! This was our BIGGEST event to date! Turnout this year was double the 2013 DC race, and thanks to you, we were able to raise more than $130,000 which will help more than 4,000 children in Gaza! Later this year, we are hosting two races in California-- one in San Francisco on Saturday, October 18 and one in LA/Orange County on Saturday, October 25. We welcome you to register early! You can do so here.
There are lots of reasons people run for Gaza. Check out this recap video from last year and find your reason today!
Interested in our West Coast races? You can now register for the October 18th Gaza 5K in San Francisco and the October 25th Gaza 5K in Orange County/LA!
