UNRWA USA extends condolences to our colleague Hani Almadhoun

Today, with heavy hearts, we share gut-wrenching news:

Our dear Director of Philanthropy, Hani Almadhoun, tragically lost his brother, sister-in-law, and their children in Gaza. These senseless losses deepen the grief and losses that Hani and our colleagues have already shouldered.

Hani’s family is among tens of thousands of Palestinians who have been tragically killed in Israeli military airstrikes across Gaza since October 7, a devastating toll that includes at least 108 UNRWA colleagues.

Our deepest condolences and sympathy go to all navigating the indescribable pain and anguish of losing loved ones, friends, and colleagues amidst this ongoing nightmare.
